The kit comes with a templet showing you where they say to drill. But I suppose theres no reason you couldn't adjust that location. It is kinda traumatic drilling the shield but aw heck- go for it!

The results aren't earth shattering but every little bit helps and I like it better than having a giant windshield.

I ride thru Franklin all the time. As soon as this hot weather breaks I'm gonna start riding. This workin' to make a living is just gonna have to wait. Priorities! I'll PM ya when I'm headin' down that way!

Thanks StrayDog. So the kit with the clamps can also be mounted permanent ? I know what you mean work is always getting in the way. Let me know , usually free for a ride on the weekends. Supposed to ride up to Maggie Valley in the next few weeks , see the bike museum then north on the parkway. I'll let you know when I head north let me know when you head this way I am sure we can terrorize something.
Mike

Yeh - The Kit comes with clamps and permanent mounts. You can start with clamps to make sure you like it then permanent mount if you choose. But the clamps work fine. You may be happy with them.

I might ride that way next weekend weather permitting, going for short ride this weekend to Dahlonega sons in college wifes idea to go for a scoot and check in on our investment . I usually stop at Riders Hill to check out bikes and gear. THe wind screen should be here next week the ride north will give me a chance to dial it in.
Will PM you
Mike

Well the touring screen is mounted, looking for a break in the rain to check it out.
I used the clamps to mount it seems like it might set too high using them if I find a happy place I will drill and mount it . Hope it works and thanks for all the input. Now on to the next " Goodie" Hi way pegs.
