Looking at drivers backrests. Want to attach to hand grips-do not want to cut thru seat, as I have a Corbin. Am looking at the Show Chrome 52-637, Kuryakin 8930 or similar wishbone type shape. Any suggestions as to other companies or models that can be attached to the hand grips on the PC?

You might try Utopia backrests.

Julian, try adopting one from an early Gold Wing ('75-'77). They will have a luggage rack which can mount where the PC800 would. It has a sliding backrest so the backrest could be used by them., as well as for the driver.

Brian, you mean the goldwing type that has a metal frame and attaches to the side of the seat handles?

Yes. You will most likely have to make a bushing, collar, bracket or all to make ut fit. But it is the right width and will fit. The sliding backrest is great for a single rider. And can be moved easily to accomodate a passenger.
