I can't seem to find a source on how to remove the top box (think that's what it's called) on my pacific coast pc 800. Can anyone direct me to a source?

What kind of box is it? If it's a Givi Mono-key, just unlock the latch & press the red button at the bottom. Lift & pull back. Easy.

Sorry. Maybe I am using the wrong name. It is the accessory trunk that sits on top behind the rear seat. The lock was broken when I got it and I want to take the "top box"

Yup. Top box. You need the key.

I guess you could un-bolt the brackets & remove it that way. There are 4 bolts that hold the pax seat handles on. Take those out and the box and brackets will fall on the floor.

Thanks, I'll try that. Took those Allen screws out today and the rear seat came loose but not enough room to get to the bolts holding the box on. Will try again tomorrow

If it is a Givi box, those 4 bolts hold 2 rails that support the box. If you have another brand, I have no idea.

I appreciate your help. It looks like it (4 bolts) are bolted to the chassis. The whole thing is a learning curve. Thanks
