Doing a bit of spruce up work before getting underway this spring. I have a bottle of Mother's "Back to Black" for shining up the black plastic pieces. The fairing protectors and saddlebag protectors have some deep scratches on their lower surfaces. Fortunately they don't show from the top. I've given a half hearted attempt to sand them out, to no avail. What has worked for you in restoring these parts? I'm thinking a glazing product and a coat of paint, but kind of like they are not painted parts now. Suggestions?
